I recently discovered Miss Emily Brown. She has an incredible voice, and her writing is incredible.

There is another video on vimeo of her that I highly recommend you watch. I have a feeling I will be listening to her a lot in the coming weeks.

Spent the day today taking photos with my sister down by the water. I’m looking forward to this weekend, which if all goes to plan will include Where The Wild Things Are on Saturday and then a full day of shooting on Sunday with Jared and Rebecca. We’re taking a bit of a road trip up north for the whole day. It’s always nice to get out of the city for a while.

I am in love with this video by Cinnamon Chasers, which was shot entirely with a Canon 5D Mark II. I want that camera, now please.

So Treasure Island was fun, but I was totally bummed I didn’t have my camera when I found out you were allowed to take in cameras. Good to know for if I go next year. We ended up seeing Grizzly Bear, Beirut, The Decemberists, and The Flaming Lips.

Now onto an overcast monday, where I’ll be writing a paper and doing graphic design homework…

Woke up early yesterday to go shooting with Jared, and ended the day with the Monsters of Folk show.

Today is Treasure Island.

Flew back home today, clocking in a total of thirteen hours at the airport in the past five days.

It’s nice to be back.
